Saleh accepts, NMSO rejects plan for Gulf
SANAA: Yemen?s Opposition rejected Monday a plan of the Arabian Gulf for President Ali Abdullah Saleh to resign, because it appears to provide immunity from prosecution, while Saleh himself welcomed the plan. ?Who would be a fool to offer guarantees to a regime that kills the demonstrators? Beirut: a Syrian activist said a rare protest in Damascus University campus turned violent. The militant in Damascus said beat up and arrested several of the students at the Faculty of science university?s security forces Monday. The activist spoke on condition of anonymity.
