NATO jets pound Gaddafi forces - Times of India

BENGHAZI: NATO launched air strikes against the troops of leader Libyan Muammar al-Gaddafi in the town of Misrata, disaster port Sunday after the regime forces killed at least 11 people over the weekend, said rebel y.

The doctor said that the hospital had received three bodies Sunday, two rebels and a civilian, adding that it was possible that there could be more deaths in other medical institutions.
"As of noon today, NATO air strikes have taken out 11 tanks on the road to Ajdabiya and strikes will continue through the day and this evening," said a NATO official in Brussels. "Clearly the Ajdabiya situation is dire and Gaddafi forces attacked the town with heavy weapons."

Loud explosions rocked Ajdabiya for a second day Sunday, as rebel fighters advanced cautiously after having suffered a major setback at the hands of Loyalists.
