Hundreds of demonstrators — calling the Egypt to the military Council power to prosecute former President Hosni Mubarak - flees the scene as the clouds of tear gas spread through central Cairo. Among them were at least four men wounded and bleeding. Demonstrators tried to stop an ambulance to leave the place.

Two men severely beaten in military uniform were located at the rear of the vehicle. In the early morning, security forces withdrew from the square, leaving behind the spent casings and in one place, a pool of blood.

Essam said activists have tried to help dissident military personnel to escape repression in dressing four of them as civilians.

Tensions mounted between demonstrators and the military hours before the raid. Late Friday, the militants have been seen face two military officers who tried to approach the central roundabout of the place. Officers shoved demonstrators, hitting their chiefs and then the hat continues as they fled the place.

By dawn, the military withdrew from Tahrir. Lines of barbed wire and several burned out trucks blocked traffic from entering the region.

The clashes came a day after amassing large crowds of demonstrators on the Tahrir, many of them place in anger against the new military leaders of the Egypt. After the overthrow of Mubarak in February, the army took control - a wave of popularity for refusing to fire on demonstrators pro-democracy during 18 days of anti-Government protests.

Earlier this week, several army officers took to the internet, recording video statements accusing the President of the Council the power, field marshal Mohammed Tantawi, to protect Mubarak from prosecution and leading a counter-revolutionary movement.

"He should resign." He makes stupid moves. He has not learned errors of the past 60 years. Military must not run countries, "said Mohamed Ibrahim Garib, who makes life import and export of clothing, Saturday."

Battles flared at some point between the soldiers and citizens before the doors of the Egyptian Museum, which has been used in recent months as a centre of detention by the Egyptian army. An officer fired shots into the air, which prompted the young angry mob doors and stone throwing by on the grounds of the Museum. After a few minutes, the confrontation subsided.

The military, issued a statement Saturday morning, accusing a former member of Mubarak a long-National Democratic Party in the "incentive to Tahrir.".

The army announced that it had issued arrest warrants for Member of Parliament for the NPD Ibrahim Kamel and several of his associates after accusing him of being "present in Tahrir square after the curfew as thugs and frighten citizens."
